Today's Kool Idea: Shamrock Good Luck Garden for St. Patrick's Day

Bookmark and Share

St. Patrick's Day is just around the corner, and with the current state of the economy, a little luck may be just what the saints ordered. We at The Daily Kool came across this whimsical Shamrock Good Luck Garden and thought it was the perfect gift for those looking for something that will last longer than the inevitable hangover.

St. Patrick's Day has become a sensation for Americans who are happy to celebrate the national holiday of Ireland. Every March 17th, both Christians and non-Christians alike enjoy the secular version of the holiday by wearing green, eating Irish food and/or green foods and attending parades. Let's not forget the holiday high we all get from indulging in our favorite Irish liquor. Our personal favorite is Baileys Irish Cream...yes, we are well aware how wimpy it is compared to Guinness and Jameson Irish Whiskey, but who cares? It's delicious and well worth the obscene calories (about 490 per 6 oz)...at least for one day.

Since the earliest of time, shamrocks have been considered a good luck symbol representing hope, love, faith, and luck. The Shamrock Good Luck Garden comes with everything you need to bring a little green to your home. Perfect for children and the novice gardener, this carefree kit contains: 1 glazed ceramic container, 2 peat pellets, shamrock (white clover) seeds, and growing instructions.

Let the tiny clovers in the Shamrock Good Luck Garden bring you (or someone special in your life) luck all year long! The Daily Kool would like to wish you in advance a very Happy St. Patrick's Day with one final traditional Irish wish:

May your blessings outnumber the shamrocks that grow,
And may trouble avoid you wherever you go.
